PSIGEN Reports Record Earnings for Q01: Revenue Up 116% Over Last Year

PSIGEN Software, Inc., (http://www.psigen.com/) the leader in advanced capture and scanning solutions, has record growth for the first quarter of their fiscal year, growing over 116% over last years’ Q1 results. This follows strong total earnings growth over the past two fiscal years, with overall average growth per year at 65%. Strong growth can be attributed to a growing reseller channel in the U.S., and global expansion through a network of distributors abroad. Along with channel growth, the addition of a large number of Fortune 500 companies as customers has positioned PSIGEN for increased revenue throughout the remainder of the fiscal year and beyond.

“Our remarkable growth can be attributed to strong U.S. domestic demand as well as a growing market in Europe and South Asia” said, Bruce Hensley, President of PSIGEN. “Organizations are looking for more value from their capture software provider, and our deep feature set and flexible licensing has given us a true advantage over the competition.”

PSIGEN’s release of PSI:Capture 4.0 has been the primary driver behind the sales increase. Released in December of 2010, it included over 140 new features, mostly focused on document processing automation, and introduced an enhanced version of PSIGEN’s Advanced Data Extraction (ADE) engine to automatically find and extract important document data, add logic to capture workflows and provide powerful document redaction capabilities

PSIGEN provides a versatile, flexible and scalable advanced capture product that is well suited to all types of scanning hardware, especially scanning copiers. Below are some of the main features for MFPs:

  • Built-in auto-import processing for servicing network scanners
  • Load balancing for high volume environments
  • Fast and accurate OCR engine for creating searchable PDFs
  • Ability to make any copier an onramp for over 50 ECM systems
  • Barcoding, data extraction, document routing and much more.
